Reinstall your video drivers, by plugging into your t.v. or another monitor you should be able to see.

Boot device not detect

Your PC is trying to boot from your external hard/flash drive.

You have to change the boot order in the bios. While booting what the screen, you'll see a message "Select F2 for boot or DEL/F10 for setup"

Go for the setup option, this will take you into the bios. Read the instructions carefully, you need to change to boot order, choose CD for 1, HDD0 for 2 anything you like for third. Press F10 to save and exit. Your
PC should now boot properly.

Or, as its just a flash drive, don't plug it in until your PC has booted.

Nothing but multi colered lines verticly on the screen

Try this:
Turn it off.
Disconnect power cord and any other device attached to it.
Take battery out.
Without anything attached. Hold down the power button for 10-15 seconds.
Connect the power cord only.
Hold down F2 (while it's off)
Turn it on while holding down F2.
Let go of F2 when something comes out of the screen.
If multi colored lines still appears.
You have either defective LCD(screen) or video card.

have you checked the drain line that is connected to the boot within the filler area,,?,,some gas may be dripping onto/ into the boot,,,then draining into your trunk,,,,there should be a water line running from the boot,,,thru your trunk then out the bottom of the trunk. Some gas may be draining into the water line and if the line is not going out the trunk then it may be drippijng into your trunk. also check to see if you cap is fitting correctly,,
i get a gass smell ever once and awhile,,but mostly no smell at all.
i hope this may help...

LCD screen dark and jagged lines

my nikon D80 did the same thing, had to replace the LCD. Their screens are very pedantic and screw up for no apparent reason, they also dont have as much shock resistance as the rest of the camera, as Ive learnt from expensive previous experiences....

1. Go to this website and download Ultimate Boot CD
2. Now download this tool to burn this Image

1_22_2013_10_27_28_pm.jpg
This is the program you should have downloaded.
Now that you have the program where it says file location look for the location you downloaded your file. Usually its C:\Downloads but it could be in a different location. Once you've located the file burn it to a CD or DVD of your choice.

4. Once you boot this cd you need to look for Partition Manager click on it. Click on HDD and then look for FDISK.

Make sure that you have an active partition which should say C: Active
