Question about Home
I just repaired my shower handle because the water was leaking from shower head. If water is leaking from the shower head, there is a good chance you need to replace the faucet seat. very inexpensive (maybe $2.00, plus you will need a seat wrench $6.00). Take off shower handle, see if there is water leaking around the faucet stem. If so, you need to replace ($15.00) Put knew stem in if water is still leaking then your problem is the faucet seat. Make sure to take the flashing off so it is easy to get to the stem. Also, turn main water off before you start. Then test new stem before putting the faucet handle back on. If you have a hot handle and cold handle it is best to replace both at same time, because chances are the other is probably going to give you problems soon.
