Question about Acer Aspire™ T180 PC Desktop
Aspire T180 PC Desktop? Or different brand of pc? Hp have a three way to restore the pc and depent on a model. The first one is to click program - accessories - system tools and system restore. The second is control panel - system - click the system restore. The third is depend to a manufacturer which Fkey you should press before the window appears.
You may try to press F8 or F10 and you have two choice if destrutive or not. Destructive mean all your data will be lost and be retored to a manufacture setting. and the second is a restore or repair microsoft software. Try see if this is will work for you.

Check and see the last restore point. If there is none, the system can't restore to a place not in it's memory.

Can you boot at all into safemode? If not you will have to have an operating system disk to restore your computer.

it probably says insert suitable boot device. If you are trying to boot from a cd go into the bios and set the boot device priority to CD as priority. If hard drive then set hard disk to the top.
