How to make jvc kd-avx33 a region free / multi region DVD player

Hi, i have a jvc kd-avx33 and it is locked on region 1 for the united states.. i want it to be able to play multi region dvd's.. can anyone pls help?

Does anyone know if this solution works? as i am looking to purchase this model, and can get it £100 cheaper from America, so if i can get it to play region 2 dvds i will buy one!

In the main menu you can scroll through and find where you can select USA/EUROPE/ASIA. It's there just keep looking.

JVC KD-AVX33 pairing problem

To inicialize to factory settings do: In "Setup" menu go to "others" menu, go to "Initialize" press "Enter".

With this you will loss all your customized settings

In the JVC KD-AVX33 manual, page 31 they wrote: "You cannot connect a computer to the USB terminal of the unit." So, how you would connect the computer to the unit ?!?

"Reset 08" means the unit is not connected properly. Check the connection/connector.

JVC KD-AVX33 stopped transmintting sound to speakers.....

I am experiencing battery drain from this unit. It gets blazing hot while not in use! I'm thinking the only option I have left is to install a switch on the 12v constant power wire, but then I'd have to set it up all over again each time I get in my car. I don't know what else to do. Stupid JVC with their stupid customer service reps. There will be no JVC products in my future.
