Owned less than 1 month and just won't power on.

My product is less than 1 month old. I plugged it in, it came on, started heating and then just quit. Now it will not power on. I've giggled the cord, reset the cord a dozen times and tried to use the restart button, but nothing works. It didn't stay on long enough to heat the oil, just make the outside warm to the touch.
