hi I'm trying to restore my acer aspire L3600 and it all seems to be working ok, but when it gets to installing the acer software it gets stuck at step 5/8 "install acer TVshare", and I have to task manager it shut (i've left it running overnight and it made no difference). I'm selling this computer and they won't take it unless it factory restores cleanly... Please Help!!!

- Just to let you know if i restart the machine while it's stuck it will complete... it just won't do it first time, which is why the person I'm selling it to won't take it until I can fix itClarification Request

Sounds to me like the recovery partition is corrupt which is why it can't go thru. There is an alternative option but you have to have patience and a little bit of know how. I need to know first do you have any cd's with that laptop?
