Question about Symantec Norton Internet Security 2009
After installation Norton told me there was a security risk and it needed to restart windows in order to fix the risk. I click on "Yes restart now" the computer restarts but shortly after it pops up again asking me to restart due to a security risk. I ran several full system scans which turned up 0 security risks.
It may be a false positive. Sometimes a system file gets tagged as a risk, which upon removal by norton, is automatically re-created by "windows system file protection".
Get as much details about the risk, such as file name, google it and if safe, add to norton's exclusion list.
