Can the clutch be adjusted on an unidentified riding mower/tractor?

Probably not if its a hydraulic transmission. The first thing to do is fit a new drive belt as this is the most common cause of what appears to be clutch slip.

Rav 4 clutch adjustment

it is the sign of the clutch wear surely. Do not delay the replacement because the slip you have burns the clutch with the flywheel overheated and will crack to need renewal which it is very expensive part. Also there is not any adjustment on it,it is a self adjusted clutch system.

Motor works fine but it appears clutch is slipping , is this repairable? If so where can i get parts. thanks

you could buy a new clutch on ebay or just buy the springs . check your clutch drum bearing sometimes these become worn and will cause your chain to turn and grease it good ,,the clutch drum should spin freely when your saw is shut off and check to see if there is any play in the clutch or noises when you spin it ,,, oh ya you have to take the bar and chain off

Adding Stop slip to a manual transmission with not keep your clutch from slipping. Replace or adjust the clutch.

It sounds as if a couple things may be at play: one, wearing clutch, Two; the clutch pressure plate springs have become fatiqued not tranferring power as they should allowing the clutch to jump apart. It would appear you should replace both the clutch and pressure plate.
I hope this may have assisted,

Clutch Slip

or at very low speed. The only way around it is to accelerate very slowly for a bit. After reading the forums I tried... -rolling the bike backward about 3' and examine the belt--the belt stays right at the top of the pulley. -examining the clutch--doesn't appear to be any rubber particles (shouldn't be as it was just replaced!) Also the drive belt is new. The only other thing to comment on is while I assumed I was buying a new clutch the red writing on the clutch indicates it is a rebuilt. That's all the info I have--any ideas?? Thanks! ,Slipping won't work for long. We have never seen slipping when all belt friction surfaces are clean. The belt should be totally dry and clean. The metal surfaces of both clutches can be cleaned with brake cleaner to remove any lubricants or oils that may be on them. Typically real slipping will destroy a belt almost instantly.,,,
