Question about Whirlpool 25.6 cu. ft. Side-by-Side Refrigerator with In-Door-Ice Dispensing System
I have the same problem. Bulb blew out, I replaced it and it's still not working. The switch on the door is fine too.
Hi, I know this sound silly but, I go on a lot of service calls for the light bulb. Most of the time, all I have to do is give the bulb a half turn mre. They can feel tightened but, it might take a little more turn. I use a rag and grab the bulb with my fingers and the palm of my hand and twist. You might need to losen the bulb and try tightening it again.
I hope this helps you.

the small metal tab at the base of the socket. Clean away any
corrosion you may find on the tab as much as possible. With a small
instrument, generally pry up on the metal tab to ensure that it will
make solid contact with the light bulb.
FYI 41A3624 is the part number for that circuit board. The model number for the opener is on the opposite end and starts with 139.
