I want to change windows XP to Vista, but how ??without using cd

If you want to change Windows XP to Vista you should check out the different Vista versions that Microsoft offers, here is a link to the different versions of VIsta that you can get and the upgrade paths you need to take - You wont need the Windows XP installation disk to upgrade to Vista. Let me know if you need any more assistance.

Windows XP drivers for Sony VAIO Laptop

There is no easy answer for this type of question, unfortunately. The best I can do is offer some advice. While installing XP is always possible, and most of the time preferred by the user, not all of the hardware will work every time with every computer. That's just a disclaimer. Just go to the Command Prompt and execute the command: C:\> CONVERT C: /fs:ntfs Where C: is a name of the drive you want to convert. After machine re-boot conversion process will start and you'll have your FAT32 converted to NTFS without of data loss.

Go to the Sony web-site and select "Service & Support" => "Drivers and Software".
Enter in the model vaio that you have and download the latest Sound driver. Install that and you should get your sound back.

You need to teach the computer how to make sound. This is done with a (generally) small file called a driver. Sony drivers can be found on their website.
