Yes ,and it ill bet it make a strange buzzing sound when you start getting
the lines . What you and apparently many other are experiencing is called
G.P.U failure due to the fact the chip is de laminating from the mother board
when it get to a certain temperature . If it's under warranty send it in Quickly
if not , then the G.P.U will have to be reclamp with screws and washers
ie X clamp mod . That fixes It .

You got air gaps under your G.P.U.s

heat sink. so as the unit heats up

that gap does not allow the heat to

dissipate and you get two reds

if its under warranty send it in to MS

if not you can clamp down the G.P.U.

ie X clamp mod ,when do right , its FIXED

    That's the truth

Sounds like you have power saver turned on. Go into "display properties" under "control panel". Go to "screen saver" Check your "Power" settings. Un-check "Hibernate" or look and see power settings are and adjust accordingly. If they are all turned off, check your BIOS settings on your PC. It mights have a power saving feature in there.

Engine light on with 2 vertical lines and a zig

the two vertical lines with the zig zag are your traction control lights, turn your traction control on and off and see if that helps , depending on where and what you hit it may have damaged something

Zig zagged and flickering screen

The surface mount capacitors in a module called the Hyper Board have gone bad. The repair is fairly extensive in that the board must be desolderd from the chassis and then taken apart and all the electrolytic capacitors must be changed. The task is time consuming and not for a do-it-yourselfer. The average repair cost would run around $250.00.

Take the television back to where you bought it and maybe they might repair it or swap it. It sounds like a defect in the TV.

BUT! Are you sure that its not just the aerial signal??

Be sure TOP control shows zig-zag. Flip top right bar from red to black or black to red on side of machine facing you. You can then change the widths by changing the numbers on that same circle control.

It sounds to me like you're describing the re-trace of the unit. It is repairable, and more so the sooner you get it to the repair facility.
