My acer 5520 will not charge and i dont know if it is the charg
My acer 5520 will not power up anymore and when i plug it in the power and charging lights alternate red and yellow lights. I can sometimes remove the battery and get it one good charge, but then problem happens again. Dont know if it is the battery or charger. Once I can power it is works great but this problem is getting progressively worse.

thats mean the charging system is faulty and sometimes there are breakages at the edge of the power cable where the pin is.try another power cable if it shows the same signal then the fault is on the laptop board.
just conncet the main power and keep as it is for 10 - 20 minutes let the battery get charged. latre on try to swicth on the laptop .if you still facing the problem then remove the battery from laptop and directly switch on main power.
