Washing machine stopped working in the middle of rinse cycle. Not overloaded, not off-balance. I can feel a slight vibration from the washer like it has power, but nothing is happening. I tried unplugging, reseting.

DC error code means: "Unbalanced load". It can occur if the washer:
1. is overloaded (too many clothes inserted),
2. can't balance the load within a few balance cycles,
3. has a damaged balance sensor,
4. isn't regulated properly (vibrates abnormally).
IMHO you just overloaded the washer :)
Not exactly easy to determine. Must check a few things first. 1) Does the timer stop at exactly the same places everytime when it stops? Make a mark at the place it stops and restart the program a few times. When it does stop, note if it is always at those marked positions. If so, the timer needs to be replaced. If the stopping positions on the timer are in the middle of washing and especially the spin, then the motor is defective.(the internal overload/overtemp) protection is activated,.
Make sure washer is on a level surface and all four feet adjusted properly. A slight forward lean may help with this problem as the out of balance switch is at the rear.
Try a different spin cycle on another setting if it still doest work try removeing the clothes and changing it to a normal wash cycle. If no try unplugging it for a minute or 2 and then back in hopefully it resets and if still no movement on the unit at all you may have overloaded it causing the motor to wear prematuraly and burn up. This is very common with overloading.
check the following
power cord plugged into a grounded 3 prong outlet
the inicator on the cycle conrol knob proprely lined up with a cycle? turn the knob to the right slightly then pull the knob
...most likely the balance sensor, a small contact switch behind the main control panel that is telling the machine it is out of balance, more likely the switch and/or contacts have corroded...
I have the same problem with my 603 washing machine stopping in the middle of a cycle and i would have to go and manually advance the wash. I have just replaced the top curcuit board with a new one. can you please help or offer a solution. Thank you.
