Casio TE 3000s cash register, I need to know how to program a Pole Display using hyper terminal.

No need to program it. It is enabled by default. For a percentage discount, just type the percentage eg 10 then press %- button. For amount discount, type the dollar amount eg 2000 (no decimal) then press - button.

Try programming 8 zero's into the cash key in program 3 and program 1.

Try this:
Turn key to program 0 CASH SUBTOTAL Turn key back to REG

Are you new balancing before you try to log the second clerk on? Make sure you don't have the check tracking selected. You can use interrupt or tables, but not both.

Which data do you need to remove? If you are using it in a new shop, you can just edit the old program. let me know what you need to change.

There are several things you will need to do. In the I/O program you must tell it where and how the scanner is set up and then you will have to program the scanner itself. I know this will solve it. I need to know the make and model of scanner

Since you got it 2nd hand, I'm assuming you don't have the owner's manual. I'm sending you a link to download the owner's manual. If after downloading the manual, you still have the same problem, please post back and I'll diagnose your problem further. It sounds like the machine needs to be Initialized. Best of luck.

Hi.
Try turning the key to program mode then,

type new rate (you may have to add decimal places such as 8.00 or 8.000)
Then press your grocery tax button
Then press SUBTOTAL

Turn back to REG mode, and try it.
