Re: Creda W12oVW

Hi m8 if the drum is solid then it could be the drum bearings which is a big job also check between the inner and outer drum to make sure there isnt nothing there

How to replace belt on Creda T620 CW Tumble Dryer

Remove the back panel quite a few screws, once of the belt can be seen, mind your fingers (use hook on metal coat hanger or the like) and roll the drum slowly with the hook under the belt directing it off the drum, refit is much the same as removal although special care should be taken not to nip the belt, fit to small pulley first on motor then turn drum slowly gradually rolling onto the drum mind the fingers and obviously make sure machine is off.

Creda tech came out, can he tell if machine belt is broke by just listening and turning the drum.

An experienced engineer would able to tell if belt is off, or if the main drum bearings were going, simply by spinning the drum by hand.

The machine is working but the drum is not

Remove the top cover and see if the belt is o/k, if it is, then you need to check the brushes in the motor, and replace if less 3 or 4mm long.

Creda eco washing machine won't spin

It sounds like it needs new carbons fitting in the motor.
It is a fairly straightforward repair.
Remove the top cover, screws at rear, and slide top cover off towards the rear.
The motor is located at the top right right rear, you will see the drive belt.
Slacken the bolt that holds the motor, and push the motor down towards the top of the drum.
You will see the 2 brush holders, they will be either black or white, pull the wires off the holder terminals, and depress the plastic`lug that holds the brushes in place, slide the brushes out of the motor.
fit new genuine Hotpoint carbons, and follow instructions on packaging. Push the leads back on to the carbon terminals.
Tighten up motor, and make sure the belt is reasonably tight.
Job done.
Test on final spin before you refit top cover.
Plz rate my solution.

Problems with creda washing machine

try your carbon brushes and drop your sump ie the pipe that connects to the pump on the inside of the machine and goes to the bottom of the drum this is the sump that sometimes blocks or may be a weak pump but try the other 2 options first good luck dont forget to unplug
