Cannot convert AVI to DVD or DVD to AVI as ...

I am able to copy DVD's but when I try to convert AVI files to DVD the process starts but then my laptop shuts down after approximately 20% is done....sometimes earlier. I have a sidebar gadget that shows me that my dual core processor is utilised 100% while it stays on.

Hey! I had a good luck with this Wondershare DVD Converter Studio which works well for converting AVI files to DVD. You can also have a free trail of it. Hope that helps.

use the software called "format factory"
its gives best quality conversion and is very fast too.
u can download it for free from many websites search it on google
and try fr it on www.filehippo.com
