Question about Samsung DLP HL-P4663W 46" Rear Projection HDTV-Ready Television
I purchased my Samsung DTV late 2006 and now I also have white spots ( about 300!!) on the screen. Most are still while some actually "twinkle". I have cleaned the front of the lamp and also blown clean air ( from a can) over the DMD mirror with no effect. The spots are still there. Is it possible that the DMD is faulty? The picture behind the spots looks good.
Actually I need you to do this... while the tv is on, go to the service menu, if the menu also has those twinkleish spots.. it's most probable to be your dmd board, if not, it's probable to be your digital video board
