SOURCE: Hijacked email addresses

Please change your Yahoo password immediately and check whether those e-mails are sent again or not. If yes, there may be a virus in your computer which is sending these e-mails.
Do you leave your computer switched on in the night?
If its a virus.
This virus itself can be frustrating for you firstly I think you should backup your computer and then install a reasonably good antivirus I personally recommend AVG 9 you can download it from: www.free.avg.com then have a thorough computer scan please be careful while deleting viruses they can be your windows file as well.
Thats why back-up is important and you should also have a windows recovery disk in case of a trouble you may also need to format and re-install your OS.
Hope this helps.
For further assistance please feel free to ask me.

SOURCE: Some of our email friends

I expect this is spoof - it's very easy for someone to send email from your address without being anywhere near your PC (look up spoof mail on google). However it could also be a virus - it's not usual for someone to get hold of your mail address and your friends unless they have access to your mail address list. I would scan you PC. google Free AVG if you don't have a good Anti Virus - it is free.

I receive E-mails,but can't reply to them

I'll assume this is a general problem and not only on occasion. I'll also assume that you're using a "mail" app to read your mail.
If so: Some providers do not accept outgoing mail from a server other than what they see for your computer. They will Deliver, but if you're using wifi or a cell connection, it looks too much like someone else hacking in.

The workaround is to use a browser and the provider's "webmail address". I use Safari and bookmark my access. It remembers my password and turns ut to be easier to delete old mail. Log on to your provider's website and look for its mail options.

How do i move advertisements so i call see all the email? The advertisements on the right side of the screen cover the email and i can't read what's underneath.

Its impossible to give an answer to this without knowing the following:
Are you accessing email via a PC or a smartphone?
List the particular device, operating system, and program(s) or app(s) you're using to access email.
In some cases, and Ad-blocker may be installed to eliminate persistent ads. Also, do any of these ads have an X in the corner where you can close them out? (Most advertisements cannot be "moved", btw)

How to get rid of ads on my screen when I go to my in box in Yayoo mail

You can either temporarily hide the ads that keep popping up on your Yahoo Mail page or block them permanently. To know how, refer to the steps below.

To temporarily hide ads (for free email accounts):
1)Sign in to your Yahoo Mail account
2)When, while viewing your list of emails or a particular email, an ad pops up, you can see a right-facing arrow between your email and the advertisement. Click on this arrow.
3)The ad will get hidden temporarily.
(Important: This blocks the ads temporarily only and as soon as you perform the actions like refreshing the Yahoo Mail page, marking a particular email as spam, replying to an email, or just clicking on any of the sections in the navigation-menu located on the left of the page, a new ad may pop up again).

To permanently remove graphical and text ads:
Yahoo Mail has recently come up with "Yahoo Ad Free Mail" service to enable you to get rid of graphical and text ads on a permanent basis when viewing your Yahoo Mail account from a computer. You need to sign up for Yahoo Ad Free Mail account before starting using this service.
(Note: Before signing up for Yahoo Ad Free Mail account, please check if the service is available in your region. Also, even after subscribing to the service, the subscribers may still get the text ads that come up on Yahoo Mail on a mobile web browser and the text ads that come up in the "Basic Mail" interface of Yahoo Mail on a computer. To know what Basic Mail is, refer to the following Yahoo webpage: https://help.yahoo.com/kb/mail-for-desktop/basic-mail-sln5171.html)

When i send emails to one of my contacts she is always asking me to not put "re" in the subject box, only the title. However, I never do put "re" so why does yahoo insert this and can...

If you send a fresh email. yahoo will not put any "re:" in your subject box.
but if you are replying to an email "re:" will be added automatically to your subject box. as many times you reply to the email. same number of re: will be added in the subject box.

this is how it works.

I have a yahoo business email account and I am using outlook 2007 to access my emails. I would like to use the auto-reply in outlook to alert all incoming emails that I am out of the office

Hi Cecil,

First you'll need to create a message template.
  1. On the File menu, point to New, and then click Mail Message.

  3. In the message body, type the message that you want to send as your automated reply.
  4. In the message window, click the Microsoft Office Button za010077102.gif and then click Save As.
  5. In the Save As dialog box, in the Save as type list, click Outlook Template (*.oft).
  6. In the File name box, type a name for your message template, and then click Save.
Once the template is finished, you'll need to set up a new rule to reply to the incoming messages.
Do the following:
  1. On the Tools menu, click Rules and Alerts.
  2. In the Rules and Alerts dialog box, click New Rule.
  3. Under Start from a blank rule, click Check messages when they arrive, and then click Next.
  4. Under Which condition(s) do you want to check?, select the sent only to me check box and any other criteria that you want, and then click Next.
  5. When you see a dialog box informing you that this rule will be applied to every message that you receive, click Yes.
  6. Under What do you want to do with the message?, select the reply using a specific template check box.
  7. Under Step 2: Edit the rule description (click an underlined value), click a specific template.
  8. In the Select a Reply Template dialog box, in the Look In box, click User Templates in File System.
  9. Select the template that you created in the previous section, and then click Open.
  10. Click Next.
  11. Optionally, select the check boxes for any exceptions to the auto-reply rule.
  12. Click Next.
  13. Under Step 1: Specify a name for this rule, type a name for the auto-reply rule, and then click Finish.
