1 Answer

Tv will not come on.

I have a 32 in. RCA truflat model #D32F750T and when turned on click click click. This problem has been going on for months. I could get tv on after 8 to 10 tries and I started leaving it on all the time. Then I lost power due to thunderstorm and have tried to get back on with no luck.

Hi,

RCA D32F750T won't turn on

Well, I glad to know that fixing this set is unfruitful.
Yes, I am yet another unsatisfied customer with the same complaints.

Ha, my TV made some kind of weird noise and I saw a flash behind the set.
After pulling a back panel, because it only comes with a 1 year warrantee,
I saw the burned part.

WONT WORK *****

if you see near plug it might be due to sparking in socket or plug by calling electrician it might be repaired easily. But you have seen blue light in tv & chattering sound than it is dangerous. do not put on tv &call skilled person.

It sounds like something in the high voltage (flyback) circuit failed. If any little thing shorts in these RCA's they will not start up. Stargazer

Did you adjust the two controls on the new flyback? The top one is almost always the focus control and the bottom is the G2/screen control (brightness) If you adjust the G2 do it until the picture looks normal, too high and you will get retrace lines through the picture.
