There's always eBay (which I tend to avoid due to fees and fraud)... but for matchbook covers that are 20+ years old, I suggest selling them as a vintage collection on Etsy.com or a similar site such as http://www.rubylane.com/ You tend to get better prices on vintage/craft sites (and more discriminating collectors), but items may not sell as quickly as on eBay. Search for similar items on Etsy to get an idea of the worth of your collection.
Another idea is a local antique shop that may offer to sell your collection on consignment (they do the work and keep a small portion of the sale price).
Since this is a discontinued model by a few years I am assuming that you mean a used price. This machine sells for about $1500.00 depending on options. A fully loaded unit with Fax, Print, Scan and a Finisher might be closer to $2,000 to $2500. No options on a stand alone copier only maybe $1,000. Also keep in mind that a dealer selling this machine as fully refurbished with a warranty might be more than just buying from an individual with no warranty.
Good Luck and Thank You for using Fixya.
Hello the problem you have with error code c0510 is caused by the fuser unit the best thing to do is to replace the fuser unit also make sure you have the most up to date firmware installed on the machine
Without specifics all I can do is give you a ballpark. I would say around $1,500.00 would be a fair price. I base that on the fact that whom ever buys the machine will have no waranty. If the machine is under a transferable maintenance contract then maybe you could go a bit higher. I sell nothing but off lease used color and black&white copiers for a living and have done so for 27 years. If your machine had a fresh refurb done on it then the price would be higher. Anyone who is looking at buying a used color copier/printer is going to be concerned with possibly having to replace expensive parts like imaging units, fusing units etc. Also if your machine has the fax option this will help the selling price. This is a good machine and as long as the meter counts are not to high the the price point I have given you should be pretty close.
Good Luck and Thank You for using Fixya.
Sc101 is a scanner home sensor error. Try removing the exposure glass, and clean the WHITE STRIP on the underside of the glass. If that does not work, there is a mechanical problem with the scanner such as a broken drive cable, which will require a trained technician to repair.
Hello I am a Sharp Techinical Service Representative. We have parts distributors that would be able to sell the parts you are looking for [drawers] however I am not entirely sure of what the price would be. Depending on where you are in the country we would be able to decide which would be closest to you. There are only 4 across the nation. 1 in california, Andrews Electronics [(800) 274-4666], 1 in Ohio, Fox International [(800) 321-6993], 1 in Florida, Tritronics [(800) 365-8030], and 1 in Maryland, Encompass [(800) 638-3328]. Please note that these are companies that access our warehouses, and don't normally accept walkins if you are in the vincinety of one. Just give them a call during the weekday, give them the models you are looking for and they should be able to help you out. If there is still any problems just contact us at our customer service line at 1-800-237-4277. Hope this helps!
Tell him you want the drum and the developer replaced only. A lot of the cost is going into the transfer belt. Usually our shop rebuilds them. It sounds to me like it's the whole assembly and not just the belt.
It sounds to me like the copier tech is giving you a worst case scenario price.
