Question about iRiver H320 MP3 Player
Hey, I got the same problem a few days ago when mine fell on the floor while playing music on my computer. At first it just had some issues with some files, but after an hour it completly died. Turned it on and 0000 files. Plug it in and not recognised. I am sad to tell you but it looks like the HD is broken. Mine makes a ticking sound when booting, obvious sign that it can't read the disk and keeps erroring. I haven't tried but you might be able to open it up and buy a new HD and replace it, but to get the files off it you would need to speak to a HD professional and pay lots of money. Hope you had a backup, I didn't and my 7000+ songs all gone.
If anyone did find a way or had success with anything please let me know.

Have you updated to the newest firmware?
Have you tried restoring the device to it’s factory settings?
