If the signal lights work then the wiring and socket and obviously the bulbs are good which leaves the brake light switch or wiring at the brake switch is bad.

SOURCE: need to replace the turn

Have you checked the fuses check for a blown parking light fuse. The reason the dash lights turn off is so that you'll know when the tail lights are not working so that no one rearends you.

SOURCE: my taillights are not working.

grab a flash light and look for blackened fuses or grab a test light, hook the negative to the battery and just touch the sharp end to each fuse, if it doesn't light up then that's it. good luck

SOURCE: speedometer don't work odometer don't work turn

The speedometer and odo meter not working relates to faulty speed sensor located on transmission and problem with odo meter cable and gears. But if speed sensor and odometer cables and gears all checked ok, then problem relates to faulty instrument cluster board. Its getting short or the connection to the back of instrument cluster board is loose.--------- The first t5hing to be tried is take the cluster board out and inspect the connections, disconnect the connectors to the back of the cluster board and clean the connections and reconnect it tightly and see if that helps. If not helping then this problem relates to short in cluster board, new cluster board is very costly, but in most cases the cluster board gets easily repaired, the local auto repair parts store have good idea for where to get cluster board repaired.----------------
Also turn signal, cruise control and air conditioner problem relates to different possibilities, in that case the turn signal switch, the wiring's, the cruise control board, fuses/ relay under hood and in the instrument panel fuse box needs to be inspected.----------------
But there are many possibilities for all this problem. If you go troubleshooting each and every possibility it will be time confusing and will cost you high/ heavy to get your problem solved.---------- But there is one good thing in this problems. That good thing is , you have check engine ;light ON.This engine light comes ON , when there is error code stored in cars computer memory.--------- So the best advise is to get the car scanned first. In scanning it will give you few error codes. As per each error code it will point you towards the faulty part that is causing the problem.--------- One more good this is, that at autozone service centers is free to get car scanned.Yes, they dont charge for scanning and giving you error codes, but they charge only for parts and its labor, if replaced from them.Otherwise there is no charge for scanning. So the first thing you can do is get the car scanned. And go from there, towards troubleshooting.----- So as per error code, you can directly look towards that parts only, which are causing the problem.------- This will help.Thanks.Helpmech.

My 02' Nissan altima stalls when its cold. But

It is probably the "cold start" cycle. A Temperature sensor will send a signal to the computer in order to make the fuel charge rich and change the timing. This will last less than 3 minutes on many cars.

The process is similar to the old "choke" system adding a timing change to the rich fuel mix. Many cars have 2 Temperature sensors and for those you want to change the one that does NOT work the dash gauge or light. The sensor you want is dedicated to providing temperature info to the computer.

Please rate my info.

My turn signals don't work but the hazzards flash

if your hazzards flash, that means your bulbs will be good but, your turn signal fuse is blown. you should check that first, & don't forget to turn off your hazzards before you can see if your turn signals work again. give it a try.

The three wires to the tow lights have been cut, and i cant find where in the harness they are cut can i bypass it all and just rerun new wires?

Yes. But do you have seperate yellow turn signal lights in the rear or do the turn signals work independant of the brake lights? If yes then you need to wire in a taillight converter. It takes your seperate left & right turn signals combines them with your brake lights on 2 wires instead of 3 leaving you with your normal 4 wires in total instead of 5. 1 Left turn & brake light. 1 Right turn & brake. 1 Taillight. 1 Ground. = 4 wires in total. If you dont have seperate rear turn signals just find left turn wire in taillight assembly, Right turn wire & Taillight & a good ground & you are done. On trailer plug yellow is left, green is right ,brown is tailight & white is ground.
