Check the flexible hoses from the burner valves to the burner, as well as the orifices on the back of the valves where they attach to the flexible hoses. Spiders love to build webs there. Be sure the flexible tubes are fully seated on the back of the valves when you reassemble them to prevent a possible fire hazard.

I have an old but trusty MasterFlavour Char Broil LP Gas BBQ 4635801 with built in Accuflex 451-05 5/16" hose (1 psi max) and standard US/Canadian regulator but I am now in the UK and want to know...

Yes, Susan, you will need to change the Hose/Regulator Assembly. You can probably pick one up at any store that sells gas grills and accessories. I suggest that you take your old one with you for comparison purposes., when you go to purchase one. In the USA, the assembly runs about $30.00.

An odd thing with many propane gas grills is how the regulator functions. If the tank is opened too fast the regulator over-adjusts and delivers no gas. Try this: Turn tank off and open all burner controls. This should clear the line of any gas. Close burner controls and open tank very slow. Now lite and temp should go up.

Just bought new propane tank for my Charbroil grill. First two times it work perfectly. Very short cook times with only 2 out 4 burners on. Now the grill lights but only enough of a flow for a low heat....

Either you got short changes on gas or the regulator is not working properly. Check the tank to see if it is empty, if not then the regulator will need to be changed.

My Char broil grill doesn't heat up enough, the flame is not as high as it used to be. Any ideas? thank you

try opening the tank really slowly. if you open it too fast the overfill protection devise inside the tank will restrict the gas flow. hope this helps.

have you cleaned the burners? if they are not clogged your regulater is the problem and should be replaced asap. don't use the grill until you have replaced the regulater if that is the problem.
