Take the lance off and look to see if there is a missing o-ring or maybe a crack

The washer is running but i do not get pressure

I had the same problem. Here are what I did to fixed it.
1. Ordered a O-ring kit from Amazon and put it on since there was a leak at the connection to the water gun (lance). It solved the leaking problem but the pressure was still low.
2. Then I took apart the water gun and back flush the water path. Once it is clean you should be able to see through by aiming it to a light. Any small particle of dirt blockage will cause side way mist and a lower pressure.

Hope it helps

When i connect my vario pressure lance to the gun it leaks like a sieve thus reduced pressure but when i fit my other accessories its ok???

It sounds like you have the vario lance set to low pressure or "mix". If you twist the end of the lance you can increase and decrease the pressure. The setting you have it on is for when you are applying detergent through the pressure washer hence why it is a wider low pressure jet.

please remember to thumbs up, thanks.

Lost pressure

try this
dissconect hose and lance , and check for water flow through the machine , if theres none or just a trickle then you may have gunk in your inlet filter ( usually a small plastic gauze insert just where the water feed hose connects )
then start machine , check for high pressure flow ( you will see the difference )
its quite common for the nozzle on the lance to become blocked
if all this seems fine but the lance is vibrating then you have a blockage in one or more of your pump valves .

The high pressure lance has sprung a leak can i purchase a new one

If we're talking about a pressure washer, then yes, you can purchase a new lance. Companies usually sell replacement parts, and there are also after-market parts available. You didn't state the brand or model # of the pressure washer, and depending on the brand and model, you may be able to repair the leak. It may be a matter of a worn O ring. If you purchased the washer locally, go back to the store and ask for a repair kit or O ring (s). They will also have lances as well.

Make sure that the tip of the head is not damaged, or missing anything.
Sometimes, there can be a pressure leak from the tip of the lance, inhibiting the pump from kicking in properly.
Hope that helps.
