Question about Fender Rumble 100 Bass Guitar Amplifier
I suspect you have a power supply problem given your symptoms.
The input jack should NOT be a problem with nothing plugged in, however the jack is suppose to ground the input with nothing plugged in. Since you have plugged stuff in with no change, I have to go with a power supply problem which is likely a bad capacitor someplace in the circuit. This will take electrical analysis and unless you are adept, you probably need to take it in for servicing.

Hi there. If there is still feedback with nothing plugged into the amp, the problem is internal to the amp. Probably worn input jack or intermittent connector internal. Try thumping on amp with nothing hooked up. (guitar)
