I have a Dell Inspiron 531S desktop computer. The left and right speakers do not make any sounds. The system says that the are properly working and I have it plugged in the right color slots. What do I need to do next? Is it possible that I could have the wrong type of dell speakers?

Goto the sound options and make sure you have selected the right output specific to your card

you can do this from the control panel

then select sound speech and audio devices

then click sound and audio devices

then click the audio tab

cliack advanced

and select your "speaker setup"

hope this helps

Where do I pug the speakers in ? I need a Picture,Show me the picture.

    • 1 Remove the Dell A215 speakers from the box. Place the speakers in your computer area. The speaker with the volume knob is the right speaker and should sit to the right of your keyboard. Place the other speaker to the left of your keyboard.
    • 2 Plug the left speaker into the right speaker. The left unit has an orange-brown plug that connects to a similarly colored port on the back of the right unit. The other end of the cord is fixed to the rear of the left speaker.
    • 3 Insert the two-prong end of the power adapter into an electrical outlet. Plug the other end into the black power port on the back of the right speaker.
    • 4 Insert the main audio cable into your computer. This cable is fixed to the back of the right speaker and has a green head. Plug the green connector to the green audio-out port on your computer. This port may be on the front or back of desktops or on either side of a laptop.
    • 5 Turn the knob on the right speaker clockwise to turn the speakers on and increase the volume. Turn it counterclockwise to lower the volume partially or all the way to turn the speakers off. The speakers should work automatically on any computer with a sound card.
Let me know if this solved the problem and good luck..

Front and rear speakers do not work

My connection dropped for a second and lost you on the live session. Thereafter I keep on getting errors.

In any case, have you tried:
1. disabling the built-in sound in your CMOS/BIOS?
2. Verify that your Creative drivers are all installed correctly with no red or yellow marks in your Device Manager under Sound, video and game controllers;
3. Are all the connectors/plugs wired to the right jacks. Iknow the sub operates wirelessly but all others are still wired.

Post back pls how things are so we can figure other things out.

Good luck and kind regards.

Speaker Sound Issue with 2 of the 4 speakers

Try this, I work in the sound production busines. Your audio CDs are not designed for Quad listening, they are stereo. If you put a game in you will hear all 4 speakers.
