Dropped my iphone

It was in a case and worked for an hour after being dropped, but the first phone call I made it wouldn't end call. Tried turning it off, and the screen has hung on hte apply logo, unable to turn it on of off now.

Have tried charging it for about an hour... reckon it's a gonner?

Just followed instructions to reset (hold power and menu button down) and it seems to be working again - for the time being!

    Thanks :-)

I dropped my iphone 5c in water 24hr ago now when I plug it in all it does is go from the apple logo to the low battery sign. i cant get it to do anything.

you need to take the back off and let it dry out completely. put in rice if you have and pray you haven't tried to turn it back on too soon. If you get it working again, for god's sake, get a case. If not, take it to Apple

The charge adapter maybe faulty.
If your cell phone is a few months old, then it would be still under warranty. Take it back to the place where you purchased it and have it repaired or replaced under warranty.

I dropped my iPhone in water. What should I do?

useually unrepairable but take the back off then remove battery and sim then use a hair dryer to try and dry out the moisture sometimes it works depends on how much water damage is in the main board

IPhone Smartphone: dropped my iphone into water, it was still on then...

Do a hard reset (menu and power button together for 5sec). If that doesn't work your should take it to the apple store. If they won't help you, keep the iPHone in a warm spot near a radiator for up to a week. You can try to open the iPhone yourself to let the water evaporate faster and clean corrosion. There is an iPhone 4G Repair service that can dot it for you, but if you're a little tech savy you should use an iPhone 4G repair guide that teaches you how to open the phone yourself.

Take it to the apple store. Even if it is not under warranty the guys at the genius bar should be able to fix it.

I dropped my iphone in a bathtub.....not working. Any help is appreciated..Not under warranty.

you are probably pretty much hosed. but there something you can try, only if you haven't yet tried turning the phone on. Place the phone in a bowl of uncooked rice. The raw rice will absorb the moisture from the device. Leave it for 24 hours, by which time all the moisture should have been absorbed. At that point, try turning it on. If you have tried turning it on already there is a very likely chance it is fried. This is a long shot at best, but it does work sometimes. good luck
