Hate to say it but they don't make them anymore. Spend the money and buy a Polaris 280

It does not pick up debris and there does not seem to be any suction on bottom of unit

Try these troubleshooting techniques for this automatic pool cleaner. First, check the thrust jet and make sure that it is getting proper thrust. Check the filter screen in the in line filter and clean it is necessary. Make sure that your skimmer basket and pump basket are clear of obstructions. Check your hoses and connections to make sure that you don't have any leaks. A loss of water pressure could be your problem.

Will not pick up the trash. Seems to have no

The 180 is a pressure system not vacuum. You must have good pressure for it to work properly. First clean your filter thoroughly. If that doesn't correct the problem, look for leaks in the hose.
