I have a model 6520-21 Sawzall that doesn't work. Pull the trigger and nothing ..it's almost brand new, used very little. I did get it to work briefly. Any ideas?

These are prone to the brushes hanging up in the brush tubes. Try removing the 2 brush caps, remove the brushes & inspect to see if there is debris preventing the brushes from contacting the armature. Blow out with compressed air and reinstall - making sure the brushes travel freely in the tubes.
Second would be to test the switch with a multimeter - if you have questions on doing this let me know and I'll walk you through it.
Last would be to test the field connections to see if there is a burnt terminal on the field itself.
Good luck - let me know if this is helpful.

SOURCE: My milwaukee 262020 18v sawzall suddenly stopped

This model has had problems with a slide block inside the gear box that breaks. (it has been re-designed) the broken part can get into the gears and lock it up. new part includes whole new housing for gear box, approx $35 for replacement part.

I have a brushless Hitachi sawzall why when I pull trigger nothing happens but Sparks are being thrown out where the battery goes?

DO NOT USE this sawzall. You will need to either strip it down again, clean and re-check EVERYTHING or take it to a specialist repairer.
Sparks are usually a sign of a serious short circuit in the electrics. When you took it apart you could have re-connected some of the wires incorrectly or accidentally gotten grease into the electrics. Get this repaired or replaced Before using it.

Hi my sister-in-law has a silvercross pramette but doesn't know how to close it . Please help because i will be babysitting soon and i dont want to be house bound. many thanks

Hi,

On each handle there is a trigger, pull both triggers upward with your index fingers, then push the handles toward the floor slightly, the arms will then raise out of their slots,(lower down toward the front wheels).Once these arms are released from their slots, holding onto one handle (left handle if you are right-handed) pull the handle at the back of the pushchair upwards quite firmly, this will fold the chassis (this handle is located directly at the back, around knee height). Make sure that you hear a 'click' when the chassis is folded, this ensures that the chassis is locked shut. If it helps, place the chassis on the floor and push dowward on it to lock it shut. If this is brand new, it is always a little stiffer (and also with the basinette fabrics on). Have a practice and see how you get on!

Hope this helps.

Tool all of a sudden stopped working. Have power through cord, but squeeze the trigger and nothing.

Two things to check: Some of the newer models have a speed control on the side. Be sure that you have not set this to the lowest (off) setting. Also, verify that the cord is all the way in and locked. Next I would replace the trigger. Over the years, I have had to replace the trigger a number of times.

I installed a new grease cartridge in my grease gun and grease does not come out when triggered.

If the gun was working properly before you changed the cartridge, The gun is air-locked
Two things: 1. Make sure the bottom rod is pushed in. 2. Holding the gun by the handle on the top left of the gun, below the hose there is a little metal valve. Push that vent valve down and pull the trigger repeatedly until grease starts to come out.
If that doesn't work. Remove the grease hose, hold the vent valve down, pull the trigger a few times. Then release the valve and pull the trigger until grease comes out. Replace the hose.
And if that doesn't work. Sometimes when you put in a new cartridge the metal "washer" that actually pushes the grease up the cylinder will get caught at the bottom of the new cartridge. Make sure the washer will move freely into the cartridge.
That should do it!

Wen electric chain saw -is it doa?

Are you pressing the trigger lock with your thumb before you pull the trigger? That's a safety feature to prevent accidental sawing.

There's not a sensor for the oil, but you don't want to run the saw dry. It takes a special bar/chain oil which is thicker than motor oil.

FYI... if you look for a manual on the web, search for "Wagner chainsaw" because Wagner bought the chainsaw business from Wen.

Sawzall quit working

With an ohm meter check the pins where the cord plugs in. Pull the trigger and check for a reading. If that's ok, then do the same with the power cord for a reading from the plug to the terminals on the other end. My guess is that you will need a new cord. Do Not Patch a power cord!! Frankster016
