How do I start set up over again

I started going through the setup screens and I am lost. I think I messed the computer up. I don't know how to reset the time, or how to connect to my internet?

Assuming your tablet is on touch the bottom right corner of the screen where the time is displayed and once the menu/notification tab opens go to the settings icon which looks like a gear and open settings. This is where you will find the settings for wifi, which is near the top of the menu, and if you scroll down you will see under system where you can set the time. I hope this helps.

How do I turn on my pandigital supernova tablet?

It could be two things, Jack: I would start by plugging it in to your charger for about 24 hrs to make sure it's not just the battery after that length of time not being used...OR, you might have to reset it to factory settings.
In the case of password lockouts or freezing, doing a hard reset on your android device could help you get back to the factory defaults.
First you need to make sure your tablet is powered off.
Hold down on the Volume + button and hold down the Power button at the same time.
  • As soon as the tablet's screen turns on, let go of the Power button but keep the Volume + button held down until you see a large Android in the center of the screen.
  • At this point you will see a screen with boot options.
  • Use the Volume - button to go down to Wipe Data Factory Reset and tap the Power button to select this option.
  • On the next screen use the Volume - button again to go down to Yes and use the Power button to select.
  • At this point it will be going through the wiping and resetting process.
  • When it's done you will see the first screen you came to when you first started the setup.
  • Just tap the Power button to select Reboot System Now.

I removed the sd card and lost it and now my kurio7s wont go any further than the grey screen with the small computer blinking at me, what do I do now?

Try to insert another sd card and then try to power on the computer again. If that does not work try to reset it by removing the battery for 5 minutes and then replace it and try to power -up again with the sd card inserted.

I thought I had lost my Kindle so I deregistered it thinking no one else could use it. Now I have found my Kindle I want to re-register it but cannot find how to do so and the Kindle does not respond

You can re-register your Kindle through the device itself. Go to the "Settings" menu, select "Register," and then enter your Amazon account email address and password to connect your device to your account.

How do I set up my apple mini

Start by switching it on ... (top right hand edge, press then let go... and Apple should appear on the screen)
If not then plug it on to the charger and try again. When it starts much of what you need to set up is requested as you go through the initial setup screens.
You will eventually be asked to setup an Apple account - this can be your normal email address and will be used to make free or charged downloads from the APP Store.

CANT TURN ON WIFI

I'm sure you're doing this but go to settings and try turning the check mark so that it shows green. If that doesn't work re-start (always the first step in troubleshooting) and try again.
Now on to the real stuff. If you feel up to it (and you'd like to mess around with computer stuff/ would like to root your device which allows you to do a lot) you should look into slatedroid dot com and then look for adb and usb debugging for the cruz tablet. There is a thorough thread on r101/r102 that goes through everything. Through that you can manually adjust things from your computer. You should be able to troubleshoot and fix wifi problems manually.
If you don't want to do that you can back up your stuff (if you have stuff on it) and reflash the firm ware. To do that go to the cruz website download the firmware (from support) and load it on to the sd. It provides directions. You'd be doing the same thing as if you were to update your firmware. Then simply restore your info and you should have be starting from scratch in terms of wireless settings and any bugs that may have come up.

Won't unlock

If it isn't responding to touch there is probably an issue with the screen.
If it responds to the power button when you press it (on the screen not on the top) then it is likely a software glitch. You'll be reflashing. Do not mess with the screen as it is not the problem.
First things first. Shut it off and restart it. If you cant shut it off open the back and pull the battery cable out. Leave it for a few minutes and plug it back in retry then move on the to following..
If you have important stuff you don't want to lose on it that would be lost if you flashed it: turn it off. Unscrew the casing and check the plug for the screen to make sure its plugged in. Push all plugs you see and ribbons in and reattatch if they are out.
If you can flash first: do it then follow the previous instructions after you try again.
If neither respond it seems the resistive response to the touch screen failed and you should probably try to get a new one under warranty or as a manufacturer defect. Do not tell them you opened the back. If they ask you to do that for troubleshooting that's cool but don't say you opened it because it may cause them to think you broke something.
Being that it is an old product that they are discontinuing, being nice and talking them about it may go a long way. Show your willingness to try to fix or work on the issue and sometimes with a little luck you get pushed up to someone with the power to actually help you out. You'll likely pay for shipping but you could very well end up with a brand new one.
Good luck

FixYa solutions for every thing Resent problems with my Gateway CX200X Tablet PC made me believe it was infected beyond a virus scan repair. It would NOT let me Virus scan, quick restore to a previous...

your best bet is to backup your actual data on the tablet. Then do a fresh install (formating the drive) instead of repairing. This should let the install go through 100%. If it doesnt then i would look into it being a HD issue. But its better to do the fresh install first. Usually does the trick

Startup problem

If you are getting a Blue screen repeatedly and you can't start up to windows in any custom setting ( from f8 start up menu ) one way to solve the problem is to Use the restore disc or windows installation cd or dvd to install windows into the computer or perform a repair installation if a windows already exists on the computer and the setup can find it.

how to perform a repair installation

this is for xp, but its similar on 2000 and on vista.

insert your Windows XP Setup CD, and restart your computer.

1.When the Press any key to boot from CD message is displayed on your screen, press a key to start your computer from the Windows XP CD.

if not then the computer is not set to start up from a cd, you can either enter the setup / bios to change that setting OR right when you power up the computer look at the screen it will say what button to press in order to enter boot menu or bios, it will very likely be button F12 or similar, it should say on the screen when you power on.

if it doesn't, then you need to go into the bios and change the boot order so that the computer starts from the CD first.

after that you should be able to start from the cd and install the OS (Operating system, eg.Windows)

here's some info on how to work the bios: http://www.whitecanyon.com/how-to-change-boot-order.php

Repeat step 1 when you have changed the boot order.

2.Press ENTER when you see the message To setup Windows XP now, and then press ENTER displayed on the Welcome to Setup screen.

3.Do not choose the option to press R to use the Recovery Console.

4.In the Windows XP Licensing Agreement, press F8 to agree to the license agreement.

5.Make sure that your current installation of Windows XP is selected in the box, and then press R to repair Windows XP.

6.Follow the instructions on the screen to complete Setup.

7.Ones windows is working you will need the drivers for your computer, they are at the makers website, for hp and compaq. www.hp.com for acer http://support.acer-euro.com/drivers/downloads.html for all other brands go to google and write Brand drivers. Should get you to the right place. Dell is most likely www.dell.com and so on.
