Hi..

Make sure that your motherboard can support your new installed video card. Check also that it is plug correctly, try to remove it first and reinsert it again. Remember that the video card are not working properly if your video card driver is not installed.

You need to installed the video card driver.

Good luck!

Install new GeForce 210 Verto install all drivers not recognize by computer

Since this computer came with an integrated Graphics you will need to disable it. Plug your monitor into the integrated card and you should have a display. Now reboot the computer, watch for the key sequence at the HP splash screen for the bois settings (probably F10). In the bois there will be a section for you display output. Change it from integrated to PCI. Save the changes made and the computer will reboot. Move your monitor plug to the new video card and it should now function.

How do i get all of the necessary drivers for an hp pavilion a6700y for windows xp home

Hp website doesn't have drivers for XP (that's wierd)... you may just have to look up each device individually. Here is a link for your chipset that will take care of your integrated video, sound and network drivers: http://www.nvidia.com/content/DriverDownload-March2009/confirmation.php?url=/Windows/260.99/260.99_desktop_winxp_32bit_english_whql.exe&lang=us&type=GeForce

No problem I am wondering can I upgrade my hp pavilion dv2210 to a new mother board with a faster CPU speed and more graphics memory i have nvidia gforce go 6150 chipset now i want to go with something...

Please check with hp if they can allow you to do that ...Incase if you end up doing this you might not able to get your system up and running ...as you are goiing to change the system board, graphic card
and if you want to increase the speed for pc upgrade your RAM and check with manuals how much Ram do they support
Apartfrom that increasing the graphic card is good option but do check nowa days nvidia is offering built in RAM on graphic card

Signal to monitor goes in and out, mostly out

Hopefully, it is just the on board video that has gone bad, and not the motherboard. When you install a video card on a PC, that has on board or integrated video, you will need to access the BIOS screen on start up and disable the on board video. That way the video signal will come from the new video card and not the on board video.

I hope this helps,

Eric
