Question about Lexmark P4350 All-In-One InkJet Printer
My printer (Lexmark P4350) won't print envelops from mail merge! I've set the size in Word 2007 and in mail merge and on my printer settings before I print...i just thought it was on the fritz but then I just typed giberish on a regular document and it printed just fine! I'm trying to print addresses on wedding invitations so I did them in Mail Merge and it's so much easier...except it won't print! And I also tried just doing an individual piece in Word and making it an envelop size not using mail merge! So my printer is crazy and just not recongizing the size of the paper!!! Please someone HELP!!!!

Just fixed it thanks to Lloyd at Lexmark.com Go to Technical Support > LIVE CHAT. To print envelopes all I needed was to check the print in "Black" only button. Under Quality make sure the Print Color images in Black box is checked, select Apply and OK.

If you have Microsoft Word go to "Tools", "Letters and Mailings", then "Envelopes and Labels". Usually it will even show you, for your printer, exactly how and where to place you envelope. If you are in doubt, just a blank piece of paper to set it up. Be sure to mark the paper with an arrow so you know which side and which end when into the printer first.

SOURCE: won't print envelopes in black
First you need to change the settings in the software you are trying to print the envelope. Open the program (for example MS Word), go to the option from which you print envelopes and labels. Set the font color to black, not "automatic", and in Word, click "default", which sets the color as black rather than allowing the printer or its software to select the wrong color. Then try to print on the envelope and let us know if you are able to print the envelope in black only.

SOURCE: My lexmark will print page, business cards, labels, pics, etc. But it will not print envelopes. Looks, sounds, and acts like its printing. But when it spits out the envelope nothing is printed on it.
There must be an issue with the size of the envelope the printer is expecting. If you're using Microsoft Word, check under "Letters and Mailings" and then "Evevolopes and Labels" to check the size you have set the envelope to. Perhaps its also a setting in File and Page Setup or in the printers own settings under Control Panel and Printers. Sorry for not being of more help but if its not jamming or giving an error then its probably just set to the wrong envelope size.
