Re: MY SCSI RAID HOST CONTROLER
You can right click on it and either roll back the driver or update. Usually if you go to www.update.microsoft.com you can search for updates. Always choose custom install so you can see what it is installing. Let me know what happens seth

Visit the motherboard manufacturers website for the drivers you need. Even if you don't use the RAID function the hardware is still built on the motherboard and you will need the drivers for windows to communicate with the hardware correctly. You might also find the drivers on the "Driver" CD that came with the motherboard.
first you need to prepare the scsi drives ie host raid adapter scsi drivers are server raid cotroller 6 scsi drivers by using the serevr raid support cd dikettitools proper os drivers to floppy and boot with widows cd at the time starting boot press f6 to specify the scsi drivers then all scsi hdd will detect for installatio.
If you can see a yellow mark it means that the driver is not installed. Try to load you CD it will run automatically. If the same things happen you just right click the yellow mark then update the driver. Once the updating process you will wait for a minute it will require you to browse the location of the IDE. You need to browse your CD look for the IDE.
the drive needs the proper hardware installed,in manager on device ,right click the ? , then left click propertys , select update driver it will ask for permission to install , click yes, takes about 2 minits ( or) ,go to microsoft.com ,look for downloads,(type) drivers, your model, click search ,pick your drivers from list and download and install
That particular work station comes with both IDE and SCSI drive interface controllers. The IDE drive should be used for your OS. The SCSI drives for your data storage. Now, the issue is to get the SCSI to work in RAID_0 as I understand.
You iwll need a RAID controller such as Adaptec AHA-3940AU WD SCSI Host Controller, which may be found on eBay (used) for a very affordable price. The driver software may be downloaded directly from Adaptec, so I suggest you do that in the iterim peroid, and store drivers on a USB thumb drive.
