Have you made sure that the fan is in Auto? You can change it from On to Auto on the remote control. If this is not the issue, let me know.

Ok, chances are the blower relay is welded or stuck closed. I am not exactly sure what you have in your unit but chance are the relay is on a circuit board. A small black box on the board. If you can find it (probably in the control panel behind any buttons on the unit) you can try to tap on the relay to see if it releases. If it does not, it should be replaced. If it does, it will probably happen again and should be replaced anyway

My ac unit outside runs when the tempeture gets above what it is set on, but the fan blower keeps going on and off. I switched the theromstat fan to on from auto and it does the same thing, on and off in...

the fan control is not for the fan on the top of your outdoor unit. that is for the blower, you have 2 fans. Im guessing you have a split system, 1 unit inside and 1 outside?? Does the outdoor fan continually run??

Hello.I think they are on to something with shortcycling on temp sensor.I think it should be sampling the return air instead of (inside coils ?).A 2*f dead band use to be built in (factory installed) to thermostats to prevent on/off, but not sure in this case.Try a new sensor location(return air) and see if anything changes.

For how long time to keep AC on?

The Department of Energy recommends occupied setpoints of 70degF Heat and 78degF Cool. During unoccupied times, it is recommended to setback Heat to 62degF and setback Cool to 85degF.
If your system is experiencing problems "catching up" from a setback temp setpoint, you will need to adjust these temperature setpoints to allow for your system's capabilities as well as your individual comfort needs.
In short, you will have to find a balance point between your body's comfort and your wallet's comfort.
You also want to make sure you keep your air filter clean. If you have access to your condenser coil (the part outside), wash it down from time to time using a water hose.
I don't know what your location is, but I'm including a link from the state of Michigan which offers some helpful information and advice on how to keep your system running efficiently & effectively.
I hope you found this information helpful. :-)

Lg split indoor fan runs non stop

Hello Hamid,
The unit is designed to run the indoor fanmotors continuously when in cooling mode on both indoor units (evaporators). The reason is that this circulates the air and the temperature thermistor or sensor is able to sense return air temperature and in turn start or stop the outdoor unit and compressor as required according to the setpoint temperature. The reason for either unit not reaching setpoint temperature can be a couple of reasons. A) Incorrect design - the unit may be too small for the application. You can calculate this roughly at 650BTU per square meter of room in a relatively warm ambient climate. Or secondly B) The outdoor unit has leaked and is short of refrigerant. You can check this when the outdoor unit is running by feeling the thicker copper tube on the right hand side of the unit. This should be cool to cold. If no temperature difference is felt, it is short of refrigerant. Hope this helps you. Goodbye
