Question about Robinair Cool Tech 34700Z Recovery, Recycling, Recharging

Machine will not equalize pressure

We have a robin Air Model no 34700Z having replaceed the main control panel and calibrating the scale we now find we canot get rid of excess pressure it will not equalize and we are prompted to exit system with any key Ie when we manually select vacuum it reads excess pressure will not clear

Mr.lenny,Please do the following:1# Check recovery solenoid (S1) coil & make sure it's not burne or it's may need to rebuild.if so,replace new coil/rebuild solenoid flunger.2# Check perssure transducer is working properly.3# Check inlet manifold low & high side solenoids (small solenoids S10-S11-S13-S14) is receiveng power & opening properly.Hope this will solve your problem.

How do I recalibrate scale on Robinair 34134Z


Robinair Model-34700Z scal calibration follow as bellow:
Press main menu then press up or down arrow till scree appear ''CHANGE DEFAULT'' then press 5454 from the keypad & then YES key (passwoed to access default option).Once you enter to default menu,go to "SCALE CALIBRATION" & then press YES key. now follow the on screen text. Once you calibrate scale then press STOP key to exit.
NOTE: You should have 9KG/20LBS of weight for scale calibration. Do not change ''TANK TARE'' or any other setting it must be on factory setup.

WE HAVE A MODEL 34700Z & IT IS GIVING MESSAGE WE YOU TURN IT ON ( SCALE ERROR UNIT DISABLED).REMOVED THE TANK & MANUALLY REMOVED TANK PRESSURE & DIDN'T MAKE A DIFFERENCE.


Your have to calibeate the scal.For Robinair Model-34700z scal calibration follow as bellow:
Form the main menu go to ''CHANGE DEFAULT'' then press 5454 & YES key (passwoed to access default option).Once you enter to default menu,go to "SCALE CALIBRATION" & press YES key. now follow the on screen text.
NOTE:you should have 9KG/20LBS of weight for scale calibration. Do not change ''TANK TARE''. it must be on factory setup 16.30 lbs OR 7.40 kg.

Over charges. machine seems to operate normal, but it over charges every time. I tried to recalibrate the scale. this didn't help.


It seems to be your last calibration was not correct!

Wont vacuum


With machine power OFF,remove old pressure transducer & replace new one.now power ON the machine & go for calibration.Calibration step for Robinair 34700Z machine.Form the main menu go to ''CHANGE DEFAULT'' then press 5454 & YES key (passwoed to access default option).Once you enter to default menu,go to "SCALE CALIBRATION" & press YES key.now follow the on screen help text.NOTE:you should have 9KG/20LBS of weight for scale calibration.

How do you calibrate a new internal scale in a modle 347002k/replaced scale now I need to calibrate it before putting machine back in service.


From the main menu go to change default option,press 5454 then press enter key.after access to default nenu you have to select calibrate scal option.press again enter key then follow the on scree message.NOTE:FOR SCAL CALIBRATION YOU SHOULD HAVE 9KG/20LB OF WEIGHT.once you done so,press stop key to complete the prcess.

Machine will not clear existing pressure


Please check your unit compressor also & make sure compressoe haveing minimum 13''Hg suction.
