We have standing water in drum in morning. Washer seems to pump out water after use, never have had standing water after cycle. Have to use drain hose at filter housing to empty water, filter is clear. No error codes on readout.
Without further information, I can offer three possible issues:
1. The fill value is furred up and is not fully closing (diagnose this by turning off the water after use at the isolator valve - and if no water is getting into the drum overnight, then it is a filling problem and you needn't read on - as opposed to a draining problem in which case read on!)
2. If you have a long drain hose running along the back of kitchen units, perhaps it is running back into the machine
3. Have you installed anything else into the same drainage pipes - such as a waste disposal unit or another appliance - that may be pushing water down the drain so fast, that some returns into other connected appliances?
Good luck

i took the pump out . then took the pump apart , water got past the o ring , where shaft goes into the center. i cleaned out the sludge & put grease on the o rings before putting it back together. it's worked since,

Check for 120 volts to the pump motor while in drain mode, if the pump does not run, or just hums, replace the pump motor. Some LG's have both a recirculating and drain motor on the pump casing, so be sure to replace the correct motor.
