You have deactivated the screen rotation option. Pull down your screen, press on the "more buttons" on your top right if you have to and press the "screen rotation" button do it turns active.
Go to control panel select display, change display settings, then go to the drop down by orientation and select landscape or portrait depending on whether you have your screen turned tall or wide. If tall select portrait, if wide then select landscape.
Right cllick on your desktop and choose personalize. At the bottom of the left panel click display and then click change display settings. Click on the orientation drop down menu and change it to landscape.
If you can reach the desktop. Right click on the background and then choose Properties. Then choose the settings tab. Hopefully there is an option to change the orientation.
