Question about Indesit Dishwashers
Probably the thermostat on the water heating element is bad.
it is made so the water heats up to 180 degrees F and turns off.
it will kick on and off to maintain the temp constant.
if it is stuck on all the time the water will over heat.
the heating unit i replaced here in naples italy because mine was broke and would never start up.
after taking mine apart i learned a lot.
the heating unit cost me 28 euro or about $40 .
if you have a 1 year warranty they have to repair or replace the unit.
if you have all the receipts call the home office and complain.
the eater heating unit looks like a peace of exhaust pipe 2 inches in diam and 8 inches long.
it has the heating element wrapped around and the thermostat on top.
hope this helps.
