Question about Fujitsu ScanSnap Manager
I have a similar problem. All of a sudden, my Fujitsu S510 isn't able to "catch" a piece of paper in order to feed it through the scanner. If I take out the Pad ASSY and manually feed it through, it works, but once I put it back on, it's like there isn't enough "space" for the paper to get through. I think I have the Pad ASSY clicked back correctly in place. I've had the scanner only for a while, so I don't know what's going on. Can you help?

Please clean the separation pad and the pick roller.
If this don't help change them.

The Fujitsu ScanSnap V2.2 L11 drivers have been patched by me to work with S300, S500, S510 and fi-5110EOX/2/3 PC-based scanners for the MAC. No need to buy a new scanner. Just apply the patch and then send me a Christmas card! ;)

Does the scanner displays any error message on the scanner panel? Is there any TWAIN error message?
If paper jam occurs, U1 error will be displayed on the scanner panel and TWAIN driver will display " Paper jam the ADF (Code DS32002)" error message.
This error is detected when one of the followings occurs:
1) A document does not reach the TOP sensor while the scanner has transported the document about 250 mm to pick. (The scanner
performs retry operation.)
2) The trailing edge of a document does not reach the TOP sensor after the scanner transports the document by the length (L) below. (The document may have slipped on the rollers) Scan condition Transported length.
In order to assist you with your scanner issue, Please provide the issue details with error message.
If nothing is being displayed, then the issue could be due to failure in Pick Motor function or Pick Sensor malfunction.
