Question about Mastercool 67680 Evaporative Cooler Air Conditioner

The shaft on the master cool is moving from side to side and it vibrates. how do I stop it from moving

You need a couple of locking collars to keep the shaft from sliding around inside the bearing mounts.

You'll have to take the pulley off and possibly the bearings to insert the locking collars in between key areas where the collars can keep the shaft from moving in and out. You'll need to know the size of the shat (probably 3/4") to know which collars to get. You can find them online at

You'll probably want some leather washers also to eliminate friction between metal parts.

possible problem cv joints or drive shafts
check with a drive line specialist shop as some manufacturers fit a balance to the shafts to stop vibration
have them check the cv joints while you are there

Leaking water pump

If coolant is leaking out of the water pump shaft, it needs to be replaced. Cooling system sealer can't stop this type of leak.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A small motor with an offset weight at the end of the shaft is mounted inside your phone.When a call or text message arrives, isntead of a ringer, the motor spins and the offbalanced weight makes a vibration.
Like an unbalanced washer in spin mode only much smaller.
The problem with ur mobile is the tiny motor stopped working...get it replaced in a service center...
The last try that u can do is master resetting the phone all the data ll be lost...back up the important data before resetting

S10 Extreme has drive shaft vibration and shop

Could be a u-joint. Check it by moving the drive shaft side to side, if no play in the u-joints then they are not bad. If you need to replace the drive shaft I would suggest you find one at a salvage yard versus paying that much for a new one.

check the U-joints by grabbing the drive shaft and try to make it move from side to side or top to bottom.It is much easier to do this if the vehicle is in the air and no weight on the axle.If it does move replace that U-joint,but if you are going to replace one then I would do both since you will have the drive shaft out any way.Also check to see if the shaft weight is still there,but I doubt it has came off its pretty rare.

I have a 1987 GMC customized van with a 350 v8 and a 700r4 transmission. It has a driveline vibration between the speed of 40 and 55 with about 47 being the worst. I have changed torque converter, the...

IT sounds like it could be in the transfer box as that can give you the vibration if the bearings have a little bit of wear but still lets go to something for you to do now and that is get some small 2oz weights (square bits of metal ) and about 6 big hose clips 2" bigger than the tailshaft.Now get under the truck and fit 2 or more to the rear shaft with 1,, 2 oz plate side by side 1/2 way up, and the plates under the screw on the clips so its got the weight in 1 place , this will let you balance it your self and you keep undoing them 2turns and moving around the shaft 1/2" at a time and if better
add another clip and plate in the same place till you get the vibration out of it and when all 100% then mark the shaft where the plates are and then take off plates and hose clips and weigh them so you no what size weights to weld on and mark shaft on back axle and front flang so as you get it bolted in the same place all the way through so when new plates are welded on then all must be 100%.
Let me know how you get on... as its a bit of a bugger of a job but it will be worth it to get the balancing correct plus you might have to do the front shaft if you run 4x4 . Plus you might have to go down the shaft or up higher towards the box ..but keep on a good back road where you can keep stopping to move the clamps.. Ron

Fluid leak on rear right side near tire.

if it is sure break fluid. then you have to change break master cylinder, if your car rear wheel drive that might be shaft oil and vibration come from a worn rear wheel bearing.

Sounds like your water pump may be going out.If the fan is mounted on the water pump,grab the fan on each side and try to wiggle it.If it moves side to side any its bad.
