Checked fuse block - removed both fuses associated with blower and both look fine. Although the blower will not work at any setting, when I set it to any speed, the AC compressor comes on. I think this means fuses and switch are OK. Following may be pure coincidence, or, failure may have a causal relationship to this - - Between the last time the blower had worked and now, I had seriously sprayed car with garden hose to clean off accumulated choke cherries. This included running a lot of water across bottom of windshield to clear off wiper blades, recess, etc. Wonder if I inadvertently "flooded" blower, causing the failure. Car had been idling while I was running the water (blower may have been on.) My 325i service manual (Bentley) shows a fuse resister block (apparently a part of blower wiring?) In order to troubleshoot, is my next step to remove the blower? (GASP.) Or, is the resistor block the likely culprit to look at first? It appears that access to those two parts - blower and resistor pack - are approached through two different, and both MAJOR, procedures - blower from front of firewall, while resistor block is accessed behind passenger dash, after removing glove compartment and air bag (again, this is according to the Bentley service Manual)? Finally, any chance of repairing blower motor, or is it replacement time? Thanks much for your time. Michael

check the fan blower relay. this is the one powering up the blue wire going to the motor.
maybe it has a separate fuse. check from other locations. could be in the passenger kick panel.

You have clean the blower unit , may be its dirty then . and then check the blower resistor unit for malfunction.

On the Right Kick Panel Fuse/Relay Box check fuses 11 10A, 20 30A, 27 5A and 111 50A. Check that the Air Suspension Service Switch is turned ON, check the two Front Height Sensors, wire Red/Blk is the power to the sensors and should be hot as soon as the Ignition Key is turned ON, if the sensor feels the suspension is Low, sends a signal to the Air Suspension Module which turns the compressor ON to level the vehicle.
If the fuses are OK, and the sensors receive power, the module could be faulty.
If the system is airtight, applying 12+ to the GRY/RED and ground the LT GRN/RED (it should be grounded already) will start the compressor and level the vehicle. The PINK wire is the ON/OFF signal coming from the module. If vehicle is below proper level, it should be hot.
THERE IS A KIT THAT U CAN PURCHASE FROM KRAGEN TO REPLACE THE AIR BAG SYSTEM, ITS A REALLY GOOD KIT COMES WITH REAR COILS AND FRONT AND REAR SHOCKS , TRUCK SEEMS TO RIDE A LOT BETTER THAN WITH THE AIR BAGS < AND U DONT HAVE TO DEAL WITH ALL THAT AIR BAG PROBLEMS < IVE USED THEM LOTS OF TIMES AND CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS HAPPY WITH VECHICLE RIDE
Good Luck! A HELPFUL - 4 THUMBS - rating for this solution would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for using FixYa!!

The interior fuse box is located on the left side (driver side) end of the dash, it is behind a small access door.
