Not exactly sure whats going on based on your description. But let me tell you what I had to deal with:
Same situation where some fool left the drawer open, it caused the railings inside the drawer to freeze. I applied heat with a blow dryer to thaw it and had to realign it.
I've also realized that the freezer unit is what supplied cooling to the rest of the refrigerator (through forced air) and noticed that it works the same way with all the fridges ive delt with (maybe around 15 or so). So it doesn't make sense, if the freezer isn't cooling then the fridge shouldn't be either being that it uses the same source and it passes through the freezer first.
That said, I wonder if the fridge compartment is cooling?
Do you hear the compressor running?
SOURCE: Maytag MFI2568aes:none of the keypad controls work. Is it the control board that is no good?
Check the harness up at the top of the door. Remove the cover and be sure everything is plugged in correctly. Sometimes the harness will work loose do to door movement.
1 Open drawer to the fully out position.
2 Remove upper and lower baskets.
3 Remove screws one in each rail marked on side of rail.
4 Lift the front of the drawer up to remove the drawer.
5 Set the drawer on a soft surface to prevent scratching the
finish. If you have other questions please ask, Thanks Sea Breeze
