Question about HP Photosmart 2610 All-In-One InkJet Printer

I am getting an Error "remove and check cartridge on right". I have changed the cartridge. I have cleaned the sensors on the cartridge and where the cartridge goes into the printer. What else can I do?

Remove the cartridge and look inside where it goes, sometimes the spring on the right comes loose and tears the ribbon cable in the back. If that has happened you will need a new carriage assembly, hard to find, expensive.

I have canon 2900 and it having every time paper jam problem please help me

Analyse where paper jamming is happening? remove right left back & top door switch, shoot print command. Remove cartridge after paper jam, check upto where paper travel?
1. If paper jams with curl foldings in cartridge bank area..before entering the fuser assmbly..
# Teflon sleeve not rotation properly due to this paper not passing through it result curl foldings..Replace teflon sleeve..
2. If paper passed fuser assmebly little bit(near about 2-3 inches.

check to see if there is a sensor or switch where the cartridge goes into. If its a sensor you need to clean it with a Q-Tip. If it's a switch see if it's not broken

Can't get HP PSC 2530 to accept re-filled catridges! Both are full but it keeps telling me to remove and check right-hand one; can't by-pass or override the message.


In order not to have error messages in your printer
You need to remove all the air bubbles from the cartridges
the best way when you do it alone is bu using refill clips

Message on the display is " cartridge error" refer to device documentaion for trouble shooting..and there is no documentaion available .. please guide thank you. javed Akram.Saudi Arabia

Hello there:<br />Whenever you recieve this type of error it is referring to the cartridge needing cleaned. so what you will need to do is remove both of the cartridges and then turn off the device then use a q-tip and some rubbing alcohol and clean the area that the cartridge sits in really well this is where most of the ink will clog up the sensors for the cartridges now after this has been done than clean the cartridges really good too .<br />Next reinstall the cartritges and restart the unit if there is still la a error you any have to get new cartridges you will also get this error if your cartridge is low on ink or you have tampered with any of the protective covering that covers the refill holes on these cartridges ok and if the cartridge is not the exact carrtridge it will get a error too ok so make sure you have the right one and it is in the right slot <br />Best regards mike <br /> <!-- from fixya rte -->

Hi there
Your error message is coming from the Dell Series 5 ink Cartridge. To reset the error message, unplug the printer from the wall. Now remove the power brick from the back of the printer. Wait 60 seconds and then plug everything back in. This usually resets any error messages on the printer. Make sure the Dell Series 5 ink cartridges are intalled correctly by removing them and re-seating them .
Black in left or black side, color in right side or color side

If using a photo cartridge...

Photo cartridge in the black side(left) and color in the color side(right)
Dell Series 5 ink cartridges have a sensor in them that cannot be reset

It is also possible to get a new ink cartridge with a bad sensor. Please take it to the place of purchase for a refund or a replacement one.

I get a message that says "Remove Cartridge and check cartridge on right". I changed the cartridge, same problem. I then cleaned the connection point on the printer with a cotton swab, same message

If there is a spring loose on the right side where that cartridge goes, it may have poked a hole in the ribbon cable when that happens you have to replace the carriage assembly. Sometimes this machine lies and you really need to change the cartridge on the left. Take out the left. cart. and see if the error changes.

I was printing a document when the printer stopped and this error popped up on the printers LCD (hp photosmart 2710) ''remove and check right ink cartridge'' how do I fix it?

1. your rt side ink cartridge is damaged change it with compatible or new cartridge to get rid from this error.
2. or try ones cleaning the cartridge with dry cloth.

HP Officejet 6510 Cartridge Error

You must replace all ink cartridges with NEW ones before the machine will sucessfully align.
