SOURCE: icemaker is not freezing ice, freezer not freezing food,

The ice maker won't work if the freezer is warmer than 17 degrees so that's not an issue till you get the freezer cold again. I would guess that your unit is stuck in the defrost cycle. This could be the defrost timer failing. See if you can find the defrost timer in your unit and advance it by hand if possible. http://www.partselect.com/PartSearchResults.aspx?modelnum=jcd2295hes&mfgmodelnum=&fkmfgid=1&hint=defrost

SOURCE: freezer not freezing food and fridge not staying cold enough

Check the compressor with a volt meter, if the compressor is getting proper voltage then check the relay. But this sounds like a problem with the compressor

SOURCE: fridge does not keep cold, but freezer is over freezing, icemaker not making ice also.

You should be able hear, and feel the air from, a running fan inside the cabinet, in either side. The common arrangement is having the coils located (behind the wall) in the freezer section and then the fan moves a controlled amount of the frigid air to the refrigerator section via openings located in the rear of the compartment. The vents are normally adjustable so the temperature can be balanced between the two compartments.  If there is no noticeable air coming from this vent, then the fan has died.

SOURCE: Freezer not freezing properly, ice on back wall

Ice on the back wall indicates a problem with the defrost cycle. The ice builds up and starts to choke off the air flow, so your symptoms would indicate that may be happening.

Defrost problems are usually any of the three components, the heater element, the defrost termination temp switch, or the defrost timer.

Freezer freezing and refrigerator freezing

Search round the top/bottom/sides of fridge and freezer for a regulator switch. Usually a small serrated wheel numbered 1-5. It should be set at 2 or 3. Any more and you will freeze up.

Frozen freezer water line

Odds are your temperature is too cold in your freezer. If when you moved you just plugged in your freezer without adjusting your temperate for your new location you accidentally froze whatever water was coming into your freezer.

First you will need a cooler for whatever you have in your freezer, unless you have wonderful neighbors who will let you keep your food in their freezer for couple of days.

Take note to see what your freezer thermostat is set to. Turn off your freezer. Take out all the food. Keep the door open. This would be a great time to clean your freezer. Let the freezer thaw out for at least one day. Check the line to make sure there is no ice. Once everything has melted turn your freezer back on. Turn your freezer back on but this time set the thermostat to three or maybe 4 levels below what you had it set to before.

Finding Freezing level:
Fill an ice cube tray or small plastic cup with water. Put it in your freezer and come back in about three hours to see if has begun to freeze. If it has not begun to ice raise your thermostat to make you freezer colder by half or 1 level. Leave the ice tray or cup of water that you originally placed in the freezer but add another one. Come back in three hours to see if the water has frozen or has begun to freeze.

You want to leave the original water because you need to make sure the new water does not freeze solid as fast as the original water. If it does your freezer is too cold again.

Repeat "Finding Freezing level" until the water begins to freeze but does not freeze solid. Once your ice begins to free you can put your food back into the freezer. Wait a couple of hours more to see how much more your cubes freeze. If they are hollow or still watery in the center you should go up another half level and check on it the next day.

Once your cubes freeze solid you should be all set. If you don't get at least one tray of ice per day from your freezer you could go up another half level so your ice freezes faster.

Be careful about making your freezer colder because you might end up with the same problem you started with depending on how sesitive you thermostat is.

My refrigerator freezes my food and drinks even at lower setting. The freezer is at the lowest setting and freezes my food like rocks.

There is a thermostat inside the casing telling the fridge to keep cooling - forever.
Replace it

Food keeps freezing in my fridge. Even at the lowest temp.

in the fridge compartment check behind the control panel where the light bulbs are remove this cover and make sure the damper vent door opens and closes when adjusted with the fridge control sometimes they ice up from condensation and freeze in one position and this may let too much cold air in from the freezer for too long, otherwise it also could be a defective electronic control board in this same area

This is a drawback of most mini-fridges. Start by defrosting everything. Then fill ice cube trays with water and keep lowering the setting until the water freezes. Just go a little lower, no more. Fridge should not freeze food. If the fridge stays closed all the time food will freeze. Also if the freezer element gets ice buildup it must be defrosted. Not automatic like home fridge. Most kids today weren't born when the last fridges that had to be defrosted were in service.

1 is the lowest setting. And if you want to make it really cold in your LG then turn it to the highest number. Might back off the fridge setting to 2. Do you have two t-stat's one for freezer and one for fresh food compartment?

Ge Fridge freezing in fridge area

The freezer should be set to 0 degrees and the fridge 37 degrees according to the manual. If your unit has only numbers then it would number 4 or 5 for the freezer and 6 or 7 for the fridge.
