Question about KitchenAid Dishwashers
If they are spotty or cloudy looking it is probably your water. hard water after being heated in the dishwasher dries leaving a white residue. there is a product out that is very affordable that filters the water going into your dishwasher. it is guaranteed to work or your money back. find out more about it at www.dishwasherfilter.com.

Check your hot water supply. It should be at least 125 degrees. Are the dishes spotty or still dirty with old food? Try to pre-rinse your dishes before putting them into the dishwasher. You can also run your hot water until it's nice and hot coming from the sink before turning your dishwasher on. If they're spotty, use less or better quality detergent. My guess is going to be water temperature or pressure.
