As far as i can work out, an Error Code 007 on the Canon IR 2022 photocopier means there is a problem with the "Fixing Assembly".

To reset the code hold the * key then press 2 & 8 keys at the same time.

If it reoccurs then possible reasons for the error are a torn sleeve in the mechanism or the film roller is not working. To fix means disassembling the fixing mechanism. If it is a ripped sleeve then replace it. If it isn't then try greasing the roller mechanism.

Just to note that it is maybe a good idea to clean the all the temperature sensors with ethyl alcohol while you have the unit apart.

An error in the rotation of the fixing film is detected.
The reading of the main thermistor is 100°C or higher and, in addition, the fixing film sensor does not detect the rotation of the film for 6 sec or more while the fixing motor is driven.

To clear the error, execute the following in service mode: -
COPIER>FUNCTION>CLEAR>ERR.

to open service mode press star press 2 and 8 key same time then press star again.

Is there a fault in the fixing film edge rotation detection mechanism?
YES: Replace the fixing film unit.

The fixing film sensor is faulty. Before you change the fixing film, then download and install the newest driver for this printer. If that doesn't work, then check if the paper size is correct. It might be on A4, but you have to check if the dimensions are correct.
This might help with the dimensions
