park lamps ,dead , i bet not
all other lamps dead.(dials, etc)?
no sound only?
or tunes stations , i see it tune, scan works but sound is dead
post that, and the operators guide , shows where the RADIO fuse is
mostly in the cab fuse box.
inlines are aftermarket radios' not stock.

does it ask for CODE?
if yes ,the radio codes if not backed is a show stopper
dealer only fix. (big secret) or any certified, lock smith
see my 25posts here on this forum under radio codes
omg, 300,000 hits.
paste this in to the google search box and magic happens.

Need the keycode for my radio 4500 rds eon serialnumer; m021470

Eww... Generally only the Manufacturer has these codes. If its the original radio from your car, take your VIN or chassis number and proof of ID to the Dealer and they should be able to give you the code. Codes are put into radios so that if they get stolen, the person who took it cant get it going and if they cant provide proof of ownership, the Dealer wont (or shouldn't) give you the code.

My radio in a 2000 Pontiac Montana kept drainin my battery and I replaced it many times,i took it to a mechanic and they took the fuse out and haven't had any problems .Now I haven't had a radio and want...

The radio is probably faulty if it is draining the battery all the time, however you can get around this if you are ok with electrics. The most simple solution would be to wire the radio to a circuit that only becomes live when the ignition (therefore the engine) is on. The downside of this solution is that you will lose any stored information in the radio, such at the time and any pre set stations.

1994 acura legend radio unlock code

I have found a few options on the Acura forums

1. Pull out ashtray and check on back for a 5 digit code on a sticker there

2. Check for a 5 digit code on the fuse panel cover

3. go sign up at myacura.com and enter your VIN # and your radio serial # and it will give you the correct code for your car.

if you do not have the serial number for your radio handy you can find it by removing the non-use "button" between the fog light and rear-window defroster buttons. You can pop that off with a small screwdriver. Then you can read the S/N off the bottom of the radio with a flashlight

PT Cruiser radio

If you have the right code for radio, you just be waiting (acc on) so long time that you can enter the code.

If you turn acc "off" the counter is starts at beginning in next time when you turn acc "on".

I had once same problem, so I took the radio from car, connected to 12V power supply over night. Next morning I enter code and radio was ok.

Was in SAFE mode now screen is blank

bad ground or bad power source behind radio and radios sometimes has fuse to the back of radio
something might have surged the cars electrics

some vehicles come with 3 fuses for radios sometimes more
these fuses are listed as
fuse box
power wire fuse box this will be located on the power wire to radio
and then you have the radio fuse

some radios have what they call an antitheft shutdown if the code was not properly put in after so many times the radio completly shuts off or for a length of time it will also shut down the radio

recommendation take vehicle to dealer so they can show and reapply code for you to you then you would never forget how to do it
