Well, I am going to need a bit more information.
I am going to assume you are running Windows XP; thus ‘right-click’ My Computer and go to ‘Properties.’ Then go to the ‘Hardware’ tab. Now click the ‘Device Manager’ button. Search for the ‘Sound, video and game controllers’ tab and click the ‘plus’ button to the left of the tab. Do you see a yellow exclamation mark next to anything saying audio? If so, you’ll need to install the sound drivers.
‘Right-click’ the yellow exclamation mark device and choose ‘update driver’ Allow Windows Update to search for software (a lot of times it will find it and install it); if it finds the drivers; allow it to install and reboot.
According to Toshiba your laptop uses AC-LINK ADI WDM Audio Driver AD1981B (you might have a CD with drivers on it that came with your laptop).
Have you also checked your volume settings located in the control panel?

one of your speakers is blown and shorting out your deck. disconnect one sspeaker at a time and when it starts working fine you know that's the blown one.

Dmi file does not show my model 2410-s205

This is a known error. You should call toshiba and have them send new disks.... or you can go to a certified Toshiba repair shop and they will change the dmi.

If they fit then put them in. The only thing is, if your not using a amp they may not sound good.

Radio Speakers

Its possible that some wires are loose, considering both rear speakers are not working and not just one. Your best bet is to check for any loose wires behind the front deck or behind the rear speakers.

Static coming out of speakers and then sound stopped completely

Hey, It is static electricity. Toshiba had some problems with their notebooks related with that problem. You will have to replace it or open the notebook and tap the speakers twice with a antistatic wrist strap. and then leave the wrist strap one speaker for the night.
