Samsung 225BW no video

My problem started out when the monitor would go into sleep mode after 2 hours (set in Windows). Move the mouse and the desktop would display for about ½ a second, then the monitor goes blank.

I replaced the motherboard and video card and the problem persists. When the monitor goes blank, I can plug another monitor in and the video is there, and power saving doesn’t cause a problem.

The last time I tried the Samsung, when I turned it on the desktop slowly faded in instead of just turning on like LCDs do. When it reached full brightness it went blank. Seems like some kind of power problem.

Samsung has yet to reply to my inquiry, but has no problem sending me spam now…big surprise.
