I was sewing with my Brother and it got stuck- whenever I tried to sew, a whole bunch of bobbin thread made a mess underneath the material and pulled until the bobbin thread broke.

Make sure you have cleaned out all the thread pieces in the bobbin area and it is clean.

Install a brand new needle.

Remove the top thread from the machine.
ALWAYS RAISE the presser foot and rethread from the beginning.
Set the top tension to the midway point and test your machine. Adjust the top tension until both threads meet in the middle of the fabric.

Top thread keeps getting bound up in bobbin making a huge thread mess I can't seem to get it to stop ....done everything I know how to do but it is still happening?

Bobbin threaded correctly? Needle not bent and correct size for material? Old thread, cheap thread?
Underneath packed with lint? Needle threaded correctly. Just some things to look for :)

A birds nest underneath project. Have gone through all the required steps to fix the problem. I am using rayon embroidery thread top and bobbin with the embroidery bobbin case for the embroidery. Any...

Been there... Most often was due to improper tension settings and the threading of the machine. If it does it all the time double check your threading technique is actually the proper method. Thought I knoew what I was doing only to realize I didn't have the thread properly run through the guides. Makes a big difference. Also helps to use a heavy backing material. Some materails just embroider like junk. For terry cloth I use a thin clear material over the top to keep the small loops from messing things up besides a heavy backing. Could also benefit from an adhesive spray for cloth along with a heavy backing to keep material from moving on you. I have had to debug my wife's embroidery over the years and this is what has worked for us.

Hi, My stitches look ok at the top but underneath its all loose and a mess. What do I need to do ? Thanks

Sounds like the bobbin tension is incorrect or the bobbin is inserted the wrong way around. The thread should double back on itself coming out if the bobbin holder.

I do not have a users manual for my janomeHF107 and I am having trouble with the bottom stitches looping. the top stiches look fine, but the underneath stitches have loops. I have tried everything i can...

Raise the presser foot before threading the machine.

What looks like a problem with the bobbin thread is usually due to the machine being threaded with the foot down.

Foot up - tension control opens; foot down - tension control closes.

When the tension control is closed, the thread cannot enter as it should and then cannot be controlled to form a proper stitch with the bobbin thread.

The Singer Sewing Co website has many graphics that are the same for all sewing machines - you can check there with regards to winding, inserting the bobbin into the case/shuttle and bringing up the bobbin thread.

The bobbin is loaded but when i go to use it I get a tangled mess of thread underneath my fabric

Usual cause is bobbin threaded wrong or more commonly improper tension of the upper thread. Sometimes the bobbin tension may be wrong due to thread size change etc.

Bobbin thread bunches up creating a tangled mess under the plate

This could either be due to the bobbin being wound too loosely, or the tension on the top thread is too loose. This just happened to me the other day, and I thought it was the bobbin thread, but then I put another bobbin in with a different color than the top thread (this is a huge help in diagnosing thread issues), and I was surprised to find that it was actually the top thread that was a big loopy mess on the underside of the fabric. I fixed it by tightening the tension on the top thread (quite a bit), and everything was fine.

Im pretty sure i have my singer 5525 threaded right but i think the bobbin is wrong but when i try to sew the top looks fine but the bottom is a thread mess an the thread keeps breaking

angle the bottom might be a mess but it is the top thread that
you see balled up .Pull the top thread and make sure there is tension on it ,if not check the thread is between the discs and there is nothing else between them .if this is ok there is something stopping the top thread from being pulled back up
through the needle plate to form a good stitch,if you can turn by hand and watch where it is catching you might be able to solve it.
